Trustee Board

About Your Board of Directors (Trustees)

Tanglewood is a self-managed community, which means your neighbors run it. The Board of Directors is made up of volunteer homeowners who give their time to keep the neighborhood maintained, financially sound, and a place people are proud to live in.

Directors/Trustees are elected by homeowners to three-year terms at the Annual Meeting held each year. They serve without compensation. If you've ever appreciated a well-kept entrance, a resolved neighborhood concern, or a clear answer to a governing document question, that's your board at work.

What the Board manages day-to-day:
  • Maintenance and upkeep of all common ground, wooded areas, and entrance monuments
  • Billing and collection of annual assessments
  • Insurance coverage for all 527 properties and common ground areas
  • Vendor contracts for landscaping, tree maintenance, and other services
  • Architectural request reviews and approvals
  • Covenant enforcement and violation resolution
  • Legal and accounting oversight
  • Coordination with City of St. Peters officials on ordinance and city-jurisdiction matters
  • Long-term reserve fund planning for emergent and unexpected projects
You may contact the Association via email at trustees@tanglewoodstp.com or via the "Contact Us" form. The Association does not have a direct phone number for contact and email is the best opportunity for a response as it is viewed by all Directors.

Interested in joining the Board?

Serving on the board is one of the most direct ways to have a say in how Tanglewood is managed. No special experience is required -- just a willingness to show up and contribute. If you're interested in filling one of these seats or want to learn more about what's involved, reach out to us at trustees@tanglewoodstp.com as we'd be happy to invite you to attend one of our regular meetings to learn more about what we do for the subdivision
